The eye is a very
important organ. It has a dominant function in everyday life. Just like other
organs, the eye should also be treated to stay healthy and can function
properly. Many simple ways to treat it such as routine eye examination to routine exercise, its reduce the risk of
vision loss due to various diseases. Here are tips to keep your eyes healthy:
1. Do not be too
long staring at computer screen / gadget
Staring at the
computer screen / gadget for a long time causes tired eyes, headache, neck
pain, blurred vision, making it difficult to focus the vision at a distance. But, if you work in
front of the computer all day, rest your eyes for 15 minutes every 2 hours. Or
you can also use anti-radiation sunglasses to reduce the risk of saturated
eyes.
2. Consumption of
Nutritious Foods
Healthy foods for
the eyes are:
Green vegetables
such as spinach, salmon, tuna, eggs, nuts, vegetable protein sources, oranges and
other fruits.
3. No Smoking
Smoking can
increase the risk of cataract disease, macular degeneration, and optic nerve
damage that can cause blindness and damage the retina.
4. Routine to Exercising
Research suggests, that exercise may
reduce the risk of vision loss due to high blood pressure, diabetes, and
constriction or hardening of the arteries.
5. Check the Eye
Routinely
check your eyes
regularly. The purpose is to make sure your eyes stay healthy. You also
should not ignore the various problems in your eyes. If you feel any pain,
check your eyes immediately.
